In celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the Schein-Joseph International Museum of Ceramic Art, Leslie Belevance, Dean of the School of Art and Design in collaboration with Susan Kowalczyk, Museum Collections Manager, organized the exhibition, TWENTY. The exhibition draws from the Museum's permanent collection including only objects collected over the past twenty years. The collection at Alfred began in 1900 but was not officially a museum until 1991. Chosen pieces includes work dating from 2700 BCE to the present including work by Charles Fergus Binns, Eva Zeisel, Karen Karnes, Robert Sutherland, Satoru Hoshino, Susanna Biondo, Rebecca Chappell, Eric Mirabito, Yukio Ito, Brother Thomas, Betty Woodman, Linda Sikora, John Gill, Ayumi Horie, Andy Brayman and others.
