Summer Art Book Club - All the Beauty in the World

Lazy summer afternoons are a great time for reading! So the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum has teamed up with Alfred’s Box of Books library to create a new summer reading group all about art, creativity, and museums!

Discussion: Thursday, August 14, 5 p.m., Alfred Ceramic Art Museum Seminar Room  

This NYT bestseller recounts the experience of a man who took a job as a museum guard at the MET as a way of dealing with a difficult time in his life, and provides a stunning portrait of the museum and the role of art in life.
