Tom Folk, Ph.D is an acknowledged scholar in American art and regarded as the leading authority on the Pennsylvania Impressionists and published the first book on the subject in 1997. He has organized more than a dozen museum exhibitions of paintings by the New Hope Impressionists and Modernists. Dr. Folk has also published many articles on twentieth century American ceramic artist, including an early one on Gregory in 1994. He teaches at the New York School of Interior Design and at New York University.
