The Museum’s current exhibition, from the permanent collection, opened January 23 and closes April 17, 2009. Following a succession of temporary exhibitions from outside sources, we have put together a group of ceramic pieces that gives our visitors an opportunity to see a sampling from our own vast collection.

Included are approximately thirty pieces ranging across countries and centuries: Han Dynasty, Chinese jar; 19th century English Staffordshire Ware butter tub; 1930s black-on-black San Ildefonso Pueblo jar by Maria and Julian Martinez; 2006 vessel by Germany’s, Ursula Scheid; 1950s vase by Japanese artist, Rosanjin Kitaoji. Other pieces include work by Paul Soldner, Lucy Lewis, Silvie Granatelli, Kris Nelson, Glen Lukens, Yukiko Ito, Ka-Kwong Hui, Ken Ferguson, Shuji Kawai, Chuck Hindes, Jan Hoag, Frank Ozereko, Peter Beasecker, Larry Elsner, Frank Martin, Harrison McIntosh, Karen Karnes, Charles Harder and Charles Fergus Binns.
