KleinReid, Porcelain by James Klein and David Reid exhibits the ceramic work of the New York based artist/designer/manufacturing duo. The company founders James Klein and David Reid met in high school in Ohio and received MFA degrees from Alfred University and Cranbrook Academy of Art respectively. They began collaborating as KleinReid in 1993.

The exhibition opens to the public June 6 and closes on September 28, 2007 with a reception on September 20th. Klein and Reid will be in attendance at the reception and participate in a career talk, sponsored by the Career Development Center, regarding their professional journey on Wednesday, September 19th in Nevins Theatre, Powell Campus Center on the Alfred University Campus at 5:30 p.m.

This is a collaborative project between the Museum, the Robert R. McComsey Career Development Center and the Division of Ceramic Art.
